TEKS, Trondheim Elektroniske Kunstsenter, og paraplyorganisasjonen PNEK, Produksjonsnettverk for Elektronisk Kunst er ikke foreslått inn påstatsbudsjettet fra 2006. Dette på tross av innstilling fra Norsk kulturråd, og Kulturmeldingens anmodning om viktigheten av å sørge for stabil driftfor TEKS og PNEK. Etter å ha fått tilskudd til prøvedrift fra Norsk kulturråd i 3 år, kan det ikke lenger søkes dit for grunnfinansiering, og både TEKS og PNEK står dermed i akutt fare for å måtte legge ned fra og med 2006. Kampen mot nedleggelse settes nå inn for fullt! Vi oppfordrer alle som synes vi utgjør en meningsfull ressurs til å signere oppropet og aller helst med en egen liten erklæring.
Du kan også sende støtte-mail til teks@teks.no eller pnek@pnek.no, til bruk i den videre prosessen fram mot endelig budsjettvedtak.
